introduction to Cala Bona

Cala Bona is one of Majorca’s quieter corners. Small yet informal, modern and friendly, the resort has a fantastic stretch of fine sands which runs along from Cala Bona to Cala Millor. You will also discover smaller sandy coves situated between rocky outcrops, which are superb for relaxing and sunbathing. The town itself, dotted with narrow streets, is a tranquil fishing village and working harbour so you will find plenty of cafes and bars to tempt you. Entertainment is low-key and is based in the hotels, so most people head off to the nearby attractions of Cala Millor. Here you will discover a beach and seafront complete with promenade where there are watersports, sports, plus a range of shops and restaurants. Later, as darkness falls, there are a variety of bars and discos to head for.

Journey Times: Airports, Palma - 2 hours approx.
