The resort exudes an air of sophistication and stylish living and is ideal for families. Among the beaches, you’ll discover a sandy beach, and in the centre, Cala Gran Beach, the largest on the island, with its fine white sand beach and shallow waters. You will also find a host of friendly shops, bars and restaurants with open-air terraces. Plus there are facilities for horse-riding, watersports and tennis. The night-life is relaxed with a smattering of discos. A tourist train running through the town will take you to neighbouring coves such as Cala Egos. introduction to Cala Bona

Cala Bona is one of Majorca’s quieter corners. Small yet informal, modern and friendly, the resort has a fantastic stretch of fine sands which runs along from Cala Bona to Cala Millor. You will also discover smaller sandy coves situated between rocky outcrops, which are superb for relaxing and sunbathing. The town itself, dotted with narrow streets, is a tranquil fishing village and working harbour so you will find plenty of cafes and bars to tempt you. Entertainment is low-key and is based in the hotels, so most people head off to the nearby attractions of Cala Millor. Here you will discover a beach and seafront complete with promenade where there are watersports, sports, plus a range of shops and restaurants. Later, as darkness falls, there are a variety of bars and discos to head for.

Journey Times: Airports, Palma - 2 hours approx.
